OUR TEAM

Chetna Mehta (she/They)

FOUNDING ARTIST & FACILITATOR
Ohlone Land (Bay Area)

Chetna is a granddaughter of Indian and South African diasporas. Their training, education and experiences span social sciences, counseling psychology, yoga philosophy and practice from a liberation-oriented perspective, cultural exchange, media and entertainment, leadership and mentorship, somatics, expressive healing arts and cultivating peaceful circles. She connects disruptors, educators and changemakers to the wealth and wisdom of our creative embodied alchemy.

Lakshmi nair
(she/her)

EDUCATOR & WRITER
Arapahoe, Sioux, Cheyenne, Ute Land (Bay Area)

Lakshmi has been teaching yoga for 20 years in the lands of the Nuché, Tsisistas, and Hinono’ei peoples known colonially as Denver, CO. She’s been offering a yoga immersion/teacher training program for BIPOC since 2014 and in 2018, she co-founded Satya Yoga Cooperative, a yoga co-op by and for BIPOC healing.

Andrea Reeves (She/her)

OPERATIONS
Catawba Land (Charlotte NC)

Andrea is a neurodivergent systems specialist and the founder of Type C Creative. After years of downplaying her love of systems and organization for "more creative" endeavors, she realized helping things (and people) work well together is a form of creative expression and community care. Dre seeks to support individuals and organizations in finding more compassionate ways of working; she uses introspection and technology to build intuitive, values-driven processes for small business owners.

NicO Gargiulo (she/they)

COORDINATOR
Susquehannock Land (Central PA)

Nico is a cat-whispering, occult-loving, bathtubbing, endlessly curious, sensitive soul & tinkering creator. They swim in a kaleidoscope of expressive magic: music, collage, poetry, stained glass, textiles, ritual, prayer, activism, communion with nature, somatic movement & meditation, adornment, creative recycling.

Nico holds creativity and somatics as beautiful vessels for collective healing, and aims to support others along their journeys toward creative embodiment.
